The space
••Please Read Full Description ••

This unique lodging experience is one of a kind. Your accommodation is a traditional pioneer-style canvas tent on a wooden platform to keep you cozy from the alpine elements. It is best suited for 2 people, but we can arrange for a 3rd person. The tent is a private space - full sized bed, twin size mattress, all the kitchen essentials, clean drinking water, an outhouse and many other small details to make your stay perfectly comfortable!

Guest access
You can reach our property by vehicle. We suggest you rent a car in Anchorage or Fairbanks to get here.
We are located about 30 minutes from the National Park entrance - 4 hours from Anchorage and 2.5 hours from Fairbanks.

The tent has unbeatable views, but is a little more off the beaten path.
Guests may park below and are required to walk up a small staircase in the hillside to reach the tent. PLEASE note this before booking!

Other things to note
PLEASE NOTE: You must walk up a short staircase in the hillside to access the tent from your vehicle. we reccomend wearing sturdy shoes while walking around the property.

this property is OFF GRID! That means there is no running water. there is an outhouse, water and soap for washing, clean drinking water, baby wipes and sanitizer.
There is also NO electricity. There is a USB solar charger for phones and tablets. We do have a generator we run at night if you need to charge larger gadgets.

dogs are welcome but ONLY if they are well behaved and must be leashed at ALL times on the property. we have 30 sled dogs that we want your dog to stay safe from and it helps keep the excitement to a minimum.

There is great at&t and verizon cell reception here. No wifi is available, but we recommend taking your stay as an opportunity to tune out and listen to the sounds of nature and the dogs howl!

we are a rural, Remote property. there is wildlife in the area so please take precautions when walking around on local trails. We reccomend carrying bear spray or bear bells. Do not leave trash or food out. Store the majority of your food in your vehicle. there is a small cooler for some items in the tent.

We are close to the Parks Highway, the major highway from Fairbanks to Anchorage that goes to Denali National Park. We are quite accessible. Located in Cantwell, we are in a quieter area than the Denali park entrance, but still a very short drive. There is a coffee shop/cafe very close, a bar and 2 gas stations within 2 mile proximity. Denali National Park entrance, tour activities, restaurants and shops are within a 30 minute drive.
