Location, location, location! World-class golf, fabulous restaurants, and pristine beaches are all within easy distance of this well-appointed, three-bedroom, three-full-bath-plus-powder-room townhouse!
Ideally situated on a quiet cul de sac, all of your home-away-from-home needs are here in this beautifully decorated townhouse. The master suite is on the first floor and has a TV, king-size bed, private full bath with a double sink, and walk-in closet. Also on the main floor, you will enjoy the Carolina room, complete with two chairs and a love seat. The nature views from this room are special and you will sometimes view a family of deer. The dining table seats six, with an additional four at the breakfast bar. The living area has a TV, sofa, and loveseat, as well as another very comfortable chair. The laundry room with both washer and dryer completes the main floor and does away with the need to lug all your dirty clothes back home.
This fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig, as well as another coffee maker. There are enough dishes and silverware as well as assorted pots and pans to satisfy the most discerning chef. For those wishing to grill, there is a gas grill available on your private patio as well as a grill at the pool clubhouse (the pool is open seasonally, usually May through September).
Upstairs, you will find an en suite bedroom with a TV, queen bed, and private full bath and closet. The third bedroom also has a TV, two sets of bunk beds, and a walk-in closet, and while it does not have its own bath, just outside the bedroom is another full bath. There is also a private loft area with a sofa and TV for times when you want a little privacy.
Located just steps away from the TPC Myrtle Beach golf course clubhouse (the South Strand’s only course awarded five stars by Golf Digest), you can walk to this course. In addition to the TPC course, there are numerous others within a few miles. Among our favorites are East Wachesaw, Indian Wells, Blackmoor, and the River Club. Additionally, the Litchfield Beach and Pawley Island courses are 10 miles away, and numerous Myrtle Beach courses are a 20-25-minute drive away.
Murrells Inlet is known as the seafood capital of the South, and you will find a wide variety of dining choices offering everything from burgers and fries to fresh seafood to wood-fired pizzas and the finest steaks around. Among our favorites are Wahoo’s Fish House, Russell’s Seafood Grill, Graham’s Landing, River City Cafe, and the Dead-Dog Saloon. Also of interest is the Marshwalk, a half-mile wooden walkway along a natural saltwater estuary. Most of the year, you can walk along the Marshwalk, stopping here and there to enjoy a cocktail from one of the many restaurants mentioned above along the way.
And beach … Huntington Beach State Park, a mere seven miles away, is a pristine and wide open beach. It contains some of the finest surf fishing in South Carolina, and some of the top bird-watching on the east coast. You can find a variety of seashells along this beautiful beach, boogie board, surf, swim, or just catch some rays while relaxing. Also at the beach is Atalaya House, the Moorish-style winter home of Archer and Anna Hyatt Huntington. Archer Huntington was a philanthropist and his wife, Anna, a sculptor. Adjacent to Huntington Beach State Park, they created Brookgreen Gardens, a unique blend of art and nature. This 9,100-acre garden has over 1,400 sculptures placed along walkways and garden paths, as well as in small well-thought-out gardens.
