Our gorgeous, modern 1 bedroom apartment offers the best of urban living! On a quiet, leafy street, a walk to Atwater Market, the Lachine Canal, and Old Montreal, or take the nearby metro to anywhere in the city. Sleeps 4. Free parking! Please note, this is a second storey walk-up.

The space

We love this little apartment and, whether you’re planning a weekend getaway or a longer stay, we think you will too. Freshly renovated, bright, clean and stylishly designed, it is a great place to come home to after a day out exploring all that Montreal can offer. Cook up something delicious in the fully equipped kitchen (new appliances!) or relax in front of the Smart TV. The apartment comes with a washer and dryer, luxury linens, a dvd library, wifi, and books and games for rainy days. Grab a Bixi rental bike from the nearby stand and cycle along the Lachine canal to Old Montreal, ride along the river to the bird sanctuary [thank you Al!] and the rapids, hop the metro downtown or walk to Atwater farmer's market for coffee and pastries, fresh produce and flowers.

PS: We have another apartment, almost identical but with a larger outdoor balcony and on the third floor of the same building. Check it out by searching for "the perfect pied-à-terre (wasabi)."

Beautiful place in a vibrant neighborhood not far from downtown Montreal. Perfect to catch some of the the city's spirit. Shelagh and Chris are great hosts, everything was well prepared, no questions left unanswered. Highly recommended!

The appartment matches the description. It was clean and comfortable, metro stop 5 minute away. The communication with Shelagh was smoothly, the strawberries a nice detail ,) The only disadvantage I can think of are the outside stairs to enter, they are a bit unstable. But overall a nice place !

Shelagh's apartment is beautiful and in such a great location! Just 10 minutes to the metro and about 15-20 min walk to some great restaurants! Atwater Market was amazing as well and just a short walk away. Shelagh went above and beyond by providing a little starter kit in the fridge with eggs, milk, bagels, and some delicious fruit to help us out with breakfast! So thoughtful! We loved our stay here.

We love staying at Shelagh's place. The neighborhood is quiet, the apartment a perfect eclectic mix of wonderful art and all the amenities of home. When you arrive the fridge is stocked with bread, cheese, milk and eggs for your first morning. But that's not all..... you'll find lots of condiments, spices and everything you need for your stay, including umbrellas. And the shower is awesome! Perfect Pied-a-Terre is certainly how I would describe Shelagh's flat.

Clean accommodation close to public transport and supermarkets and walking distance to markets. The provided "welcome pack" was great. Host communicated well to my questions.

I had a great stay in Montreal at Shelagh's apartment. The apartment is located in a quiet area, and the downtown area is easily accessible by bike or Metro. Although it was not possible to meet Shelagh, communication was great and she was a very thoughtful host (leaving bread, cheese, fruit, etc.).

What a lovely place to stay. About a six minute walk to the nearest subway and we were downtown in no time. Street parking was available on both sides of the street so it was no problem finding a spot. The apartment itself was beautiful, it was nice and clean and Shalegh left us so fresh bread and cherries as a welcoming, which was a very nice touch. Would definitely recommend staying here!!
