Built in the year of 1876 Carriage House for the Fox Estate (now called the "Riverstone Estate") It is 1,200+ acres of a private gated estate, very secluded. Designed by Frank Furness of Philadelphia PA in the year of 1876! The estate is bounded by both the Clairon River and the Allegheny River. Many trails to hike, down to either river. Well behaved dogs are welcome. If arriving late, please call me to give you directions to the carriage house, as we nomally meet at the gate.

The space
The carriage house has a front and back entrance, there are steps up to the cottage. Below are the old stables for the carriage horses, the carriage area, and a sitting area that was used by the carriage drivers. All was updated to a very high quality in 2001. There are no horses boarded in the Carriage house. There is a original updated H barns located at the entrance of the estate that doc has a few horses in. The Carriage house has a fireplace and is re-done to a very high quality. A golf cart is also avialable.

Guest access
You will have the complete carriage house to yourselves. The main estate mansion is about 2000 feet away. Steps up to the cottage above the carriages. We can also accomidate horse's in our barns and pastures. Please ask for details. We have also over 40 miles of trails to walk or ride on. Staying at the Riverstone Estate is a experience in its self. The estate has been restored to its condition when the Fox'es owned it in the 1890's! No expense was spared to restore all the out buildings etc. you can tour the grounds at your leisure.
