Cosy and welcoming cottage. The recommendations for restaurants and local places to visit was fantastic. Lots of lovely beaches and villages in North Norfolk. We had a lovely weekend and would definitely recommend the cottage.

Great place to stay for exploring North Norfolk. Location on a busy road and can be very noisy. However this did not spoil out holiday. Within 45 min drive we accessed over 10 beaches which were beautiful for walking or sunbathing. Highly recommend the Ship Inn at Brancaster for…

What a lovely house. The rooms were spacious (the bedroom was huge!) with stylish interiors. The kitchen had everything we needed for the week. Docking is a really nice village and the Spar was very convenient. There is a bit of road noise but we were there at harvest time so t…

Hi Alison It was a pleasure to have you stay with us. It was great that you enjoyed Norfolk and glad the suggestions worked out well. Noted re the harvest time and farm vehicles but it seems that did not cause too much concern and for us is part of the charm of being in the centre of what is still very much a working rural village. All the best regards Nina and Stephen

Stephen's place was a great find. We were so impressed by how unique it is. Good location for exploring Norfolk. One thing to note which is absolutely not a criticism, as some people have mentioned, it's on a main road so we took ear plugs as I'm a light sleeper. The other thing …

Hi Emily. Nina and I are very pleased you enjoyed yourselves and made the most of the cottage and its location. As you mention and as listed in the description the cottage is located in the heart of what is a working village. It is on the High Street and you do get some morning traffic including tractors and in the Summer combine harvesters and the like. For us this is part of the experience of the property (formerly a general store with petrol pumps etc and then the the village hardware store) at the centre of the community. However, we appreciate some people prefer the quiet in which case our property (Apricot Cottage) might be better. It is behind the Oldhardware and although close to the High Street has no noise. We are in the process of fitting lined curtains in the bedroom which we hope will help complement the existing blinds. Thanks for the positive feedback and hope to have you back. regards Stephen and Nina
