Ballymalone More Cottage is situated on an elevated site overlooking the lower Shannon. It is an ideal location for those interested in walking, cycling, angling and other activities that the area has to offer. We provide guided fishing tours, boat hire, life jackets, fishing rods and wet gear.

We are approximately 20 minutes from several golf courses, Castletroy in Limerick, Nenagh Golf Club and East Clare Golf Club in Bodyke. We are 15 minutes from The University of Limerick activity center which is located in Killaloe. They have plenty of water and land based activities including sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, canoeing, orienteering and archery. There is also an equestrian center in Ballina. There are some award winning restaurants in the area as well as local takeaways including Chinese and Indian cuisine. There are many pubs in the area, some with restaurants.
