The yurt is originally from Mongolia. This means that the place is very cozy but also a little rustic. Heating is provided with a stove, firewood is available. In winter, the yurt cools down when the stove is not burning. A small oil radiator then keeps it frost-free.
The yurt is located on a 1500 m² property in a residential area. The bathroom and kitchen are located in the house 35 m away for your own use. We are available around the clock if any help is needed.

The space
The Mongolian yurt stands in the middle of the Altes Land, Northern Europe's largest fruit growing area. This authentically furnished property is located just 150 meters from the Elbe dyke and this style of property is still used by the nomads in Mongolia.
The four beds are equipped with comfortable mattresses.
The ger, as the yurt is called in Mongolian, is made with natural materials like wood, sheep's wool felt and leather. It can be heated both electrically and with a wood-fired furnace. In front of the yurt there is a seat for eating. There is also a fireplace. In our house, which is about 35 m away from the yurt, there is a private bathroom and a small, well-equipped kitchen.

Guest access
In the house, about 35 meters away, you will find a small, well equipped kitchen and the shower bath with toilet. Next to the yurt there is a fireplace with barbecue.

Other things to note
The yurt is heated with a stove, firewood is available.
In winter, it can get cold in the yurt when the stove goes out. A small electric heater keeps your temperature at about 10°C at night.

Neighbourhood highlights

We live in the middle of Altes Land, Northern Europe's largest fruit growing area. We love the proximity to the water, the quiet village life, but also the proximity to the old Hanseatic cities of Stade and Hamburg.
Many orchards with farm shops and the operational windmill "Venti Amica" invite you to visit. Watching big ships on the nearby Elbe beach is also mandatory.

We love our village and the Alte Land! Be our guests and get to know the largest fruit growing area in Northern Europe and its diverse surroundings. We are happy to assist you with this. Aurora is from Mongolian, we came to our yurt, which we also like to use ourselves for reading, sleeping or being together with friends. It's a really special place! If this is not the case, our cozy vacation home is available to you. We like to travel around Europe with our three boys in the caravan or visit the Mongolian part of the family in Asia.
