Perfect location for families or groups. All the mod cons you would need and not far from the city. We took a very easy bus ride back that stopped practically at the end of the street which was very convenient. The kids (and Dads) loved the pool table and the pool kept all occupied. Having the greenspace in the back was perfect for the boys 11 & 14) as they had just purchased hurling sticks and it gave them the opportunity to learn how to play without fear of breaking any windows! It was a private little oasis back there and we were not worried about the kids at all. Overall a great place to come back to after a full day sightseeing and shopping. Communication with the hosts was quick and efficient and they were very lovely people.

What an incredible place to spend in Dublin!! Such a beautiful home with everything one could need to make for a restful stay while engaging in the hustle of the city of Dublin. With comfortable, quite rooms, a fully stocked kitchen, exercise/gaming room, pool and sauna, and living area, one has all of their needs met! Sharing a wall with Phoenix Park was an absolute plus to this stay! So amazing to be able to look out the window and take in the beauty of this location as well as a quick walk around the corner and into the park to take in walking, running or biking paths, soccer and cricket fields, tea house, a lake, the zoo and the president of Irelands residence as well as the America Embassy! We were able to walk through the park from end to end and go into Dublin. A short walk in the other direction takes you a lovely town with restaurants, pubs, shops and more. Sarah was a most gracious host who took us on a tour of the park and was always available for any question or need. She was so fun to chat with and always ready with a smile. We also had an opportunity to meet some of her lovely family and visiting grand pups! We felt very at home! We strongly recommend this beautiful home and will definitely stay again if the opportunity arises!

This was our first time experiencing a property through air bnb and we were not disappointed. Sarah is a fabulous and friendly host. The house is amazing and even better that Sarah is a pet lover so we were able to take our dog who made herself at home in Sarah's house too. We are already planning our next stay. Our boys enjoyed the pool and games room and we really enjoyed every minute

If you are thinking about the Stables book now! You won't find better hospitality anywhere. Sarah is absolutely an amazing host and very helpful. She even baked us a pie! The whole place is magical and comfortable. My family loved the pool and the private gated entrance. The Stables are about a 25 minute bus ride to town or a 10 minute taxi. We used both with ease. The kitchen had everything you'd need and the beds were very comfortable which was perfect for our group of 7. We can't wait to go back!

Any discerning traveler would find this property charming. The lovely pictures don't even do it justice, as the old buildings with their eaves and twists and turns and pretty windows have been beautifully restored, with an eye to space and comfortable seating, a well-equipped kitchen easy to navigate even with multiple bodies working in it. The two and a half baths are divided between two bedrooms up and the half one on the ground floor. The beds are really comfortable and the linens soft. To the delight of all, the swimming pool didn't disappoint, nor did the sauna or the game room above. The cobblestoned outside courtyard is spacious and tempting to photograph, which I probably overdid. Finally, there is Sarah. There is no more cheerful or welcoming hostess, and she worked overtime to assist us, from driving us to a restaurant our first night (which she recommended) to giving a lift to the Airport our last morning. Her husband, Michael is marvelous fun, with his quick, dry humor, we got to meet cousin Jacki from Miami Beach who was visiting, and also Sarah and Michael's divine daughter, Emma. In addition, we got to hang with the three dogs, Jethro, NoNo and Cracker. Made us feel less homesick for our own dogs. The Stables is right by Phoenix Park, a beautiful place twice the size of NY's Central Park, with beautiful trails for walking, running blading, biking. There is a zoo there which we didn't get a chance to see, but will next time. And there will be a next time, if The Stables ever again has room for us. What a delight it was!

What a wonderful place to stay that is within walking distance to a few restaurant's and pubs yet a short drive to Dublin City. The home was spacious, inviting, comfy and clean. We were greeted with treats we really enjoyed eating and drinking. We enjoyed our stay, so much we did not want to leave! Sarah is very nice, and we appreciated all of her added touches to make our stay so wonderful. Don't miss out on this place you will love it! Check out the longest restaurant and pub in Ireland called, The Hole in the Wall, which is within walking distance to this great BNB.
