DOG FRIENDLY!! Jenise's cottage is adorable, relaxing, and only a few minutes walk from restaurants, shops, and the beach. If you're looking for a relaxing (dog friendly) vacation, then this hits the spot. There is no shortage of excellent seafood, wonderful people, and miles of shoreline. And New Orleans is only an hour away! We will definitely come back. :-)

Great location for walking to shops/restaurants. Relaxing front porch with swing. Quirky house, with a lot of rooms, which I like. The front door really sticks so be sure to give it a good shoulder to get in or you will think it is locked. One big negative was the mattress on the twin bed is so worn and lumpy you will roll out if you don't keep yourself against the wall. There is a Murphy type bed in the living room but it was too much trouble since I was by myself, so don't know if it sleeps any better. All in all, I would stay again if mattress was replaced.

Response from Jenise:
Sorry you were unhappy with bed, will ask next people who are staying with us. There were 2 other beds to sleep on and maybe you should of tried them. We have a policy with the dogs. Could not contact you when we are off shore on the boat. Jenise

We chose to stay in Bay St. Louis for Frida Fest. Jenise's cottage was the perfect location and many of the participating galleries, shops, and vendors were literally outside of our door. The cottage was about a block and a half from the gulf.

Comfortable, funky, beach cottage in a friendly neighborhood close to shops, cafes and galleries. Loved spending mornings and evenings on the porch. Beach just a couple of blocks away. Terrific yoga studio and two great cafes one block over. Friendly host, friendly neighbors. We'd rent again.
