We live on a lovely, one mile road that is a gorgeous walk in the morning or evening. We are three miles from the historic town of Amesville, home of the famed Coonskin Library. The library was founded on the sale of coonskin pelts in 1804. Amesville is a welcoming, artistic town that hosts Second Saturday’s events as well as weekly activities, including yoga.
There is a gas station/convenience store called Coonksin Crossing. Coonskin has a great selection of beer including Great Lakes beer and the popular local Jackie O’s beer. They also sell wine, pizza, sandwiches, etc.

My husband and I are two people who love to have adventures. We been married over 25 years and every day is an adventure for us. We’ve traveled nationally and internationally and don’t have any intentions of slowing down. During our travels, we have been inspired by so many beautiful, natural works of art. We have incorporated many of those designs and inspirations into our home. We are always adding new features to our property. We also love animals and have a small farm on five acres. We have two dogs who are a part of our household. So we understand the challenges of finding a clean, comfortable place to stay while traveling. Most places that we have seen while traveling that are “pet friendly” are also not very clean. We work hard to keep very clean living spaces so everyone in the family is comfortable and rested before they move on.
