The town has lots to offer with a swimming pool, gym, traditional pubs, restaurants, coffee shop, fishing, play-ground and tennis court.

The cottage is also only a 20/25 minute drive away to Lough Key Park between Boyle and Carrick on Shannon, which has zip lining, tree top walks, endless walking routes, kids safari jeeps, indoor & outdoor play areas and café on site, lots of parking available. Alternatively why not pack a picnic and make use of the large green areas and benches also available
