The space

Our charming converted Barn is located within the 300 acre estate of Burningfold Manor between the country villages of Dunsfold and Plaistow, 12 miles south of Guildford, Surrey. An hour by car from London or 45 min from our local station to Waterloo and within easy reach of the seaside resort of Brighton.

This spacious four-bedroom barn comprises of 2 king, 1 twin and 1 single bedroom with 2 bathrooms (one with a shower/bath, one with a bath only). The open plan well-equipped kitchen diner uses an aga for cooking. This room adjoins the utility room, family room/dining area, entrance hall and drawing/sitting room. There is also a garage, extensive secure parking and garden with panoramic views of the Surrey countryside.
Well behaved social dogs are welcome.

Guest access

The Barn is situated on a Polo Club, and so if any of the guests are interested in learning to play we are very happy to accommodate this at a discounted rate.
Alternatively, if you have horses and want to bring them with you we can offer you stables and paddocks at an additional cost. There is also ample room for parking horseboxes and trailers.

We also offer Horse Riding walks through the beautiful woodlands, and around the estate at a reduced rate.

In addition although the property is fully equipped for self catering purposes we do use a 3rd party caterer who can provide anything from delicious home cooked food to store in the freezer to catering for a full-blown dinner party. We will be happy to review these options for you at an additional cost.

We also offer a 'fridge filling' service where you can order your groceries in advance of your stay for minimal fuss.

Beauty and massage treatments and therapies can also be provided at the property at a time convenient for you.

With local easy access to the popular Goodwood Festival of Speed, Goodwood Racing, and Cowdray Polo Club and their events, as well as several popular wedding venues this makes the Barn a very attractive place to stay with family and friends during these exciting times.

Interaction with guests

Although we also live on the estate, we will leave you alone to enjoy your stay - unless you need us of course!

What a lovely place and great accommodation. Local pubs were superb, Petworth was a good place to visit, and for the Goodwood Revival it was a superb location! Thank you Jessica.

Burningfold Barn was a great place for our family break, while attending a family wedding nearby. Jessica and family were extremely welcoming and left us to enjoy our stay. However they were on hand on the rare occasion we needed anything, including her daughter very kindly lending her nail varnish to my mum! We had young children with us too who loved the garden and there was so much space inside the house too. Thankyou for a wonderful stay!

This is such a beautiful property, in the most idyllic location! We were in West Sussex for a few days for our son's wedding in nearby Duncton - the barn is ideal for a wedding party; very well equipped, enormous rooms, plenty of space for everyone - there really isn't anything to fault. Our host Jessica was so helpful, answering all my (numerous!) questions very quickly. I would highly recommend this property. Gill & Trev from Co Durham, June 2017

Lovely extremely large place to loose yourself. Large property to roam and near village with services.

We used the house as a base for my daughter's wedding which was taking place at a local barn. The property was wonderful and everyone was able to get on with what they needed to do without getting in anyone else's way - such a large and peaceful place. Jessica was very helpful - especially when my daughter left something behind and we needed to organise a quick pickup.

The host was responsive. She very much left us to our own devices but when we needed something was available to help out. The surroundings are beautiful, the goings on on the estate didn't disturb us in the slightest. The description of the barn is accurate and inside has everything you need. Bags of space and real country feel. perfect place to enjoy time with the family. Highly recommend to anyone.

We spent three fantastic nights at the Barn and it really wasn't long enough. The house is beautiful with plenty of space if you want a quiet 10 minutes. However, we all seemed to congregate in the large kitchen and forgot we had two other rooms. I loved the Aga, it just needed a Labrador lazing in front of it. Jessica was great, from our first contact when she had to talk us in! The kitchen had everything we needed for a family get together, but we knew we had Jessica close at hand if we did need anything. There is no mobile network but the Barn has wifi and a landline. Also no locks on the bathroom doors but we all learnt to whistle 'Land of hope and glory' pretty quickly so not a problem. I didn't want to leave and will definitely go back. This is the perfect property in lovely countryside and we all highly recommend it. Thank you Jessica and Richard.
