Nestled in the heart of Connecticut's famed quiet corner, Summer Hill boasts serene pasture, a wooded trail and private pond, and an idyllic setting close to numerous college campuses, private boarding schools, wedding venues and a host of New England activities and events. Visit the CT Wine Trail, take a drive on our historic scenic highway, soend a few hours antiquing and return to Summer Hill ready to relax.

The space
This unique apartment is located in a two unit converted barn home, which maintains some original features including natural beams and cathedral ceilings decorated with antique glass work.

Your ground level guest unit includes a large bedroom and well appointed great room with a galley kitchen, comfortable living room area and full dining set. The private bathroom includes washer and dryer for your convenience. Enjoy a novel from our library, pop in a movie, or pick from our collection of board games and puzzles. If outdoor fun is more your style, take a walk down our wooded trail to Edison Pond, Summer Hill's private fishing hole. See if you can lure in that catfish that keeps getting away...we'll lend you the pole and tackle. Don’t forget to stop by the goat pasture and say hello to our resident mascots!


This spacious apartment is a great home base for wedding guests, visitors to our local boarding schools, or anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of New England.

Your stay includes a private apartment with its own entrance, ample onsite parking, outdoor dining area, shared walking trails and pond, and visits to our friendly goats Abbott, Costello and Simon, who are pastured nearby. Set back from the main road, your apartment enjoys quiet country views with nearby shopping and restaurants if you choose to venture out.
