This is one of the few places in the area with free parking.
The Upper House is a newly refurbished cottage in the centre of Carndonagh, a historic market town in Inishowen peninsula, the northernmost point of the island of Ireland. The town has three supermarkets, fine local bars, takeaways, and coffee shops within a few minutes walk.
For golfers, Inishowen has five courses. The closest, an eight-minute drive away, is Ballyliffin Golf Club, featuring two eighteen-hole links which rank with the best in Ireland, and which hosted the recent Irish Open.

The space
The property has recently been fully renovated. It has a new, fully functional kitchen with fitted oven, dishwasher, and washing machine. The spacious dining room seats six, and the sitting room has a multi-channel 40 inch television. It has two comfortable bedrooms, one with a new king-sized bed and one with a new double bed. There is also a camp bed, making it suitable for 4 adults and a child. The bathroom is finished to a high standard and has a spacious walk-in shower.

Guest access
The entire house is at the disposal of guests, and early or late check-ins and checkouts can be arranged. At the rear of the property is safe, private of-road parking with ample space for multiple cars.
The Upper House is easy to find: it is on Malin Street, 100 meters north of the town centre and is almost directly opposite the large and obvious Donegal Council building.

Other things to note
Carndonagh is a beautiful town with many amenities. Aside from those already mentioned, there are other shops, chemists, and a lovely children's park. For those interested in beach walks, within a ten minute drive are several beaches that rival the most beautiful in Ireland.

Carndonagh has the friendly, easy going atmosphere for which rural Ireland is famous, with a range of local businesses, clothing boutiques, barbers, hairdressers, galleries, kids clubs and more on your doorstep.
The nightlife is what you would expect from a rural Irish town: on Friday night, the hustle and bustle of the local pubs will begin with live music and great craic to be enjoyed.
