Murray Lodge is a stunning 1860s stone building which was once a school house. Owned by three generations of the same family the house has been extensively refurbished but still retains its old world charm. With views of the sea and the harbour from the south facing windows and a short stroll to the bustling fishing village of Killybegs, Murray Lodge is the perfect location for a relaxing trip away.

The space
The ground floor comprises of a large bright sitting room with a working fireplace and views of Killybegs harbour. A spacious kitchen with original stone flooring, a Belfast sink and a wood stove.
Off the kitchen there is a small porch which can hold coats/boots etc and leads to the back yard and garden.
Also on the ground floor there is a bathroom with electric shower and a large double bedroom with original fireplace (not in use).
Upstairs to the front there is a large bedroom with two single beds and one double with views of the harbour and front garden. Next there is a cosy single bedroom with a quirky circular window. There are also two more double bedroom and a family bathroom with an electric shower.

Guest access
Guests have full access to the house and surrounding car parking areas.
There are two apartments located at the side of the house which have a completely separate entrance. My uncle (who grew up in Murray Lodge) lives in the top level apartment and the lower level apartment is occupied by a long term renter. You may occasional see them in the front parking yard.

Picnic chairs for adults and children available.
