Great location
95% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Dairy Cottage is a beautiful, detached, period farmhouse circa 1700's.
Dairy Cottage is built of local stone under a slate roof, the house has retained some original features such as inglenook fireplace and exposed timber beams. The house enjoys wonderful views to the front towards its own farmland. Outside to the front of the main house is a walled garden with lawn, roses and shrubs. Free off-road parking.

The space
The North room consists of a double bed and a double sofa bed.
Suitable for 1 to 4 adults and with plenty of storage.
As a family room we can squeeze a travel cot in as well, but please bring your own bedding for the cot.
The room has central heating with a radiator that you can control, a heated towel rail and a television which offers freesat. There is also wifi in the room.

Guest access
Dairy cottage has a reception room where you can relax in front of the inglenook fireplace and a lounge with TV and open fireplace. You are most welcome to use the kitchen to cook meals and there is a garden room with table and chairs where you can have breakfast, etc...
Outside, in a converted barn, there is a games/information room with a pool table and washing and drying facilities.

Other things to note
Dairy Cottage also has 4 holiday cottages in a separate converted barn along with a games/information room in another barn.
This is shared by all guests and contains washing and drying facilities.
Because this is a working farm, there will often be cows or sheep in the fields depending on the time of year.
We have two large friendly dogs which can be kept separate from the guest areas if required.
