Unplug, unwind and relax in our secluded three bedroom, two bathroom rustic log-sided cabin with a large deck overlooking the forest and mountains.

The space
Rustic charm in every room! Cozy living room with wood burning fireplace, well stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, TV (currently no satellite TV, but over 250 DVDs available), WiFi and landline telephone with free long distance calls. Sorry (not sorry): no cell service! But cell service is a 10 minute drive north toward Estes Park.

Secluded on 2.5 acres of an Aspen and lodgepole pine forest, the cabin has a private deck with gas grill, chiminea, and lots of room for taking in the surrounding beauty. Located an hour and a half northwest of Denver International Airport, and 20 minutes from the town of Estes Park and the main entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park. Across the highway is a smaller entrance into the Rocky Mountain National Park, Wild Basin.

The cabin is in the middle of a forest with wildlife all around. No pets, please.

We’ve loved this area of Colorado all our lives. As plains dwellers in Kansas, Karl’s parents used to bring their family of 15 to the Allenspark area every August for vacation. Karl went to Camp St. Malo (where the Chapel on the Rock is located) with 3 of his brothers as well. When they got married 28 years ago, Karl and Pam honeymooned in the Meeker Park area. Our cabin has been our vacation spot with our children for over 20 years. However, we previously rented it and just bought it in spring of 2018. Many of our family members still use it, and our three kids are particularly excited about it. We are happy to share it with you and hope you love it as much as we do!
