The house welcomes as you enter the hall and into the sitting room. A kitchen/diner overlooks a tiered garden. There is a small downstairs toilet and a utility room with washing machine. No dishwasher or TV.
The master bedroom faces south with views over the nearby Whitcliffe Common. The second bedroom overlooks the back garden with twin beds and blackout blind.
The main bathroom has a walk-in shower, wash-hand basin and toilet.
Off-street parking available.
Breakfast makings provided.

The space
The views of the Shropshire Hills are spectacular, whatever the weather; and in October the sunsets are breathtaking.
The decor of the house is olde-worldy without being twee with an innovative use of space.

Guest access
Guests can access every room except the third bedroom which is a study/work area.

Other things to note
The house is situated about 10 minutes' walk from the town centre. There are some gentle hills on the walk; however, Sidney Road is served by the local town-bus service which runs half-hourly throughout the day until 6 pm.

Ludlow is one of the oldest market towns with markets operating 6 days most weeks. It is steeped in history, dating back to the 1100s. Ludlow Castle is where the young princes set off for their ill-fated journey to the Tower of London and although ruined, is still worth a visit. The architecture is a beautiful mix of medieval and Georgian and it is still possible to pass through one of the town gates. Ludlow is bordered by two rivers, the Corve and the Teme and is surrounded by breathtaking rural scenery.
Ludlow market operates most days, except Tuesdays. There is a local produce market on the second and fourth Thursdays of every month and a flea market most Sundays.
Ludlow is proud of its independent shops and businesses and offers something different from the usual 'high-street' experience. Rickards is an old-fashioned hardware business which has been trading for more than 100 years; Poyners is an old-fashioned women's clothes shop which sells gloves and handkerchiefs as well as modern outfits; Bodenhams is also a clothes shop but for men and women. It occupies one of the oldest Medieval black-and-white buildings, dating back to the very early 1400s.
There are three independent organic shops: Broad Bean (Broad Street); Myriad Organics at the bottom of Corve Street, opposite Tesco's; and the Harp Lane Deli at the edge of the Market Square.
Ludlow is blessed with many eateries and pubs and 'parlour pubs'! Try Chiccetti's in Broad Street for a fantastic authentic Italian experience - and the Angel wine bar next door; the Parkway Tasca Bar for something Spanish or the Olive Branch for vegetarian and vegan options.
As an alternative to Costa try Carvell's - you'll get a tea-pot and a strainer as well as coffee - and if you're a chocoholic Ludlow has a Chocolate Gourmet which will make your mouth water ...
Ludlow is also welcoming a burgeoning of 'parlour pubs' .... The Dog Hangs Well; The Wicked Grin; The Blood Bay … or if you love gin try Taste No.1 ....
If you wander down to the river at Dinham, try the Green Café or the Cliffe at Dinham which offers tasting menus and various themed evenings.
If you like Traditional Jazz, an excellent local band performs at the Rose & Crown every Tuesday.
And if you like beer, Ludlow has its own fantastic brewery, next to the Railway Station, offering brewery tours most days.
