Hello, we are a family of 4: Declan + Marion with our two children.
We loved our first experiences as Airbnb hosts with our B&B. We met so many wonderful people and it as was a joy and pleasure to invite each one of them to our home, to get to know them and to make them feel welcome. That's what we want to continue to do.
With our first listing (Relax in the hills of Donegal) closed we now offer the following exciting listings: Our "Wonderly Wagon", a lovingly restored original bow-top gypsy caravan and our newly finished Meadowsweet Hill Lodge where you can either choose to book one of the two private rooms or the whole Lodge. We put all our passion into the self-build Lodge connected to our dream to own one day Ireland's smallest hostel. But it had to be so much more than a hostel where people meet and get together, it had to be something special and extra cosy! See for yourself!
We have often volunteers from all corners of the world staying with us in our home to help with different projects and in the garden. Our very next project will be to restore an old fishing boat into an accommodation with the theme of a pirate ship!
We all love and often play Irish traditional music together. I love and write poetry (one book published in Germany), I'm also a herbalist and a very keen gardener producing herbal tea's. Declan and I visited this area some years ago and fell straight in love with the nature, culture and people here. And now we simply want to share this beautiful experience with you!
