During the winter the location often offers an excellent view of the magnificent Northern lights.
From the location of the cottages you can for example see the famous Eyjafjallajökull, the glacier mountain that erupted in 2010, as well as Mýrdalsjökull glacier. You can also for example see the peculiar peninsula Dyrhólaey and the basalt sea stackone Reynisdrangar, couple of Iceland’s more famous landmarks. Or take a walk on the nearby black sand beaches.

Very secluded cabin in a beautiful setting. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. Would highly recommend and love to stay again!
