1) We had an issue with check in as she asked the previous guests to give us the key at 11 but due to traffic from strikes, we did not arrive till 11:47. The other guests had to leave and Laurence would not allow them to leave a key. She was unable to come meet us and insisted we take another cab to her father’s house - 20 min away - to get the keys.
Response: Check-in is from noon to 7pm (precise in my ad), I found a solution to let you check-in at 11am and you never sand me a message to let me know that you were late.
I was working and founded a solution to give you the keys because you were late and guests need to leave, my father's flat is about 10 minutes by taxi. I was not in Paris.
2) She told us a few days before our arrival that the apartment would not be cleaned until 6/7PM on the day of arrival which was hard given that we were jet lagged and wanted to nap. There were no clean sheets. Once the cleaner came, the apartment was in excellent order.
Response: It is precise in my ad that the cleaning of flat is done when the cleaning man is free and he is very busy, that's why he came later, I told you when he sand me a message and you were ok.
3) There is no AC — this is advertised as such on the listing — and this would be fine with windows open, but there must be a small standing pool of water near the windows bc there are a lot of mosquitos in the apartment itself. Perhaps citronella candles by the windows would help.
Response: There is no AC listed in my ad and I never had a lot of mosquitos in Paris, I lived 7 years in this city. You should buy a product to put if off, you have 2 supermarkets at 5 minutes of walking and I would give you some money for it.
I precise that you didn't pay your first night.
If you want to book an hostel, check prices in this area in Paris and you will see the difference of prices.
