Waun Yscir is perfectly situated in the tranquil Yscir valley, just a 15 minute drive from the pretty market town of Brecon.

Waun Yscir was lovingly converted in 2009. The cottage is located on our family farm, away from the hustle and bustle, it’s the ideal place to ‘get away from it all’.

The hot tub is the icing on the cake after a long walk.

The space
Waun Yscir is fully equipped with everything you need for a peaceful and restorative break.
There is a fantastic king size bed in the master bedroom, where you can enjoy views of the surrounding countryside without even getting out of bed!
The woodburner is a great bonus on those cold winter nights when you can draw the curtains and snuggle up in front of a warm fire.
Alternatively a dip in our open air hot tub is sure to warm the cockles!
**Please note that whilst we'll do our best to ensure the hot tub is ready for the night of your arrival, it may not be up to temperature if we've had a group leave in the morning. We follow a stringent cleaning regime with our hot tub which is emptied, cleaned and refilled after every group departure. We maintain the highest possible cleaning standards in line with Covid-19 guidance.**
There are some lovely walks right on the doorstep which are much less frequented than the central Beacons' footpaths.

Waun Yscir enjoys a truly fantastic location in completely unspoilt countryside. Brecon, Builth Wells and the Eppynt hills are a stone's throw from here. Please note that if it snows we can be completely inaccessible so please keep an eye on the weather during the winter. We have a tractor and a 4x4 just down the road so we can always help if needed.

My husband and I live just north of Brecon on our family farm. We farm around 800 sheep and about 30 cattle.
