The space
More details:
There is one flight of stairs to reach the wraparound sundeck with a panoramic view of the jungle with the entire Asuncion city skyline in the horizon. You will see gorgeous, vibrant sunsets over lake Ypacarai, and sometimes the entire lake erupts with color reflected from the sun.
The main bed is a king-size bed. You also have an extra single bed in an adjacent hallway (foam mattress).
For your laptop, there is a table with bench, electrical outlet and work surface.
The bathroom features two mirrors (including a lighted vanity makeup mirror), glass bowl sink, wall hung toilet, instant hot water enclosed shower with curtain, as well as towels and basic toiletries.

There is a small copetin directly across the street with simple foods like bread, milk, soda, beer, and wine. A larger supermarket with a full bakery, butcher, fresh produce, and pre-made items is located just down the road (a seven-minute walk). Also on the same street, (drive for 5 minutes) there is a large Super 6 supermarket that has a good assortment of everything.

The towns of Altos and San Bernardino are close (about 5 minutes by public transportation). San Bernardino has a large number of restaurants, bars, fast food (ice cream, German bakeries, Burger King, etc.) along the lakefront. On summer weekends, the area is especially busy and there are small pizzas, burgers and alcoholic beverages all over the city.

Hi, I'm Lisa! Welcome to Paraguay! I hope you enjoy your visit.

Here, you can enjoy a little bit of jungle paradise.

You will enjoy a 270+ degree view of serene, natural jungle from the wraparound balcony. And every night you can savor the gorgeous sunset over lake Ypacarai with the twinkling Asuncion city skyline on the horizon. There is an abundance of colorful tropical birds - some of them will eat right from your hand. You will see all types of tropical butterflies, exotic plants and vibrant flowers in the gardens. And right outside your suite is a private, refreshing swimming pool for you to cool off whenever you want (yes there are underwater lights for a swim under the stars).

If you are very lucky, you can sometimes see monkeys...they won't get close though, they love staying high up in the trees and bamboo.

Your private suite has it's own private bathroom with hot shower, air conditioning and heating, mini-fridge (with more fridge space available when needed) and much more.

During your stay

We are a multicultural family, I speak 4 languages (Sichuan, Mandarin, Cantonese and English) and my husband also speaks English, Chinese, Spanish and a bit of French. Plus, there is a friendly German couple living in a separate house on the same property. So there are many opportunities to interact with friendly people if that's what you are looking for.

Some guests prefer more privacy, and I respect that too. The suite has it's own private entrance.
