Escape to an enchanting haven of relaxation and charm nestled in a peaceful neighborhood surrounded by spectacular natural landscape. Enjoy this fully equipped home while you explore the wonders of Denali National Park. An ideal location with Denali Park entrance 8.75 miles down the road; 229 Parks, the best restaurant in Alaska, two miles away; and a lovely local cafe, Tonglen Lake Artisan Cafe, a magical ten minute walk.

The space
The mirthful global decor of Denali Hideaway was collected on my global travels. I designed the home so it's filled with thoughtfulness and love. Enjoy a bath or catch up on laundry as the home is supplied with great tasting well water from my 200' deep well. The kitchen is fully equipped and tea/coffee will be provided.
Two bedrooms and full bath are upstairs. The kitchen, dining room, living room, half bath and laundry room are on the main floor.
Families with children are welcome, but my home isn't child-proof.

Guest access
You have access to the entire house except one closet.

Other things to note
Grocery shopping in Anchorage or Fairbanks is easiest on your pocketbook. Three Bears grocery store is 17 miles north of Denali Hideaway in the small town of Healy.
You will need a vehicle to access my house.
There is a 7% room tax included in the price.

I'm proud to say that I've been working for the National Park Service at Denali National Park for almost 20 years. My current job is working at the front desk of the Denali Winter Visitor Center. If you call the main Denali phone number or write to the Denali info email line - you might talk to me! My knowledge and insight from living and working in the Denali area will help make your trip a superb adventure! Traveling all over the world is one of my passions and I know how important it is to have a comfortable, safe haven to come back to after a day of exploring. Not only have I traveled for fun, but also for work. Some people say that I'm bi-polar as I've worked in Denali and in Antarctica - similar to an Arctic Tern. I love cooking food from other lands and eating it as well! That's why I also love getting outside and hiking, biking, skiing, camping, and enjoying all the glorious beauty that nature has to offer.
