Town Street Barn is a 300 year old traditional limestone barn that has been converted into a luxury holiday cottage. Situated in the picturesque Peak District village of Brassington, it is the perfect retreat for honeymooners, walkers, or anyone looking for a relaxing country break.

The space
The barn is arranged over two floors.

The ground-floor consists of a luxury cinema room with Blu-ray/DVD, giant screen and sound-system. There is a collection of contemporary and classic films to choose from, making it perfect for cosy nights in.
Also on the ground floor is a wet-room with shower and WC and a utility boot room to store outdoor footwear and coats, here you will also find a washing machine.

Heading up to the first floor you will find the lounge/kitchen/diner and the bedroom. The lounge area offers ample seating in front of a wood burner and a TV, the perfect spot to relax after a long day of walking.
The dining area has seating for two to enjoy a meal together.
The kitchen area comes equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.
The bedroom is a lovely light space with a double bed and a luxurious freestanding stone bath.

The property has no garden, however there is a bench at the front of the property which has views down the valley and is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee.

Guest access
There is a private off road parking space for one car.

Other things to note
We reopened in July and are taking every precaution to make sure the barn is as clean and safe as possible during these unusual times. The barn will always be thoroughly aired before you visit. Every hard surface is cleaned between guests with antibacterial spray or disinfectant. The bedding, bedspreads and towels are all washed at 60 degrees, and any unnecessary items have been temporarily removed. Hand sanitiser and anti bacterial soap are provided for during your stay, and we will minimise contact in order to maintain social distancing.
