Menangah, Daerah Tutong, Brunei
Our area is the undiscovered Brunei, where old traditions are being kept alive by people from the Dusun, Kedayan, Tutong and Iban indigenous peoples, even though we're mostly living a very modern lifestyle nowadays.
There's always something going on around and about, with activities really dependant on who's around on the day - in the past, I have taken guests foraging for jungle foods, catching freshwater crayfish, learning rattan weaving, seen how ambuyat (our traditional dish} is made, practised tribal dances, listened to tales of jungle folklore, tasting honey direct from the hive, even seen a wild boar being skinned!
