The Ringfort Stayover is a chance to stay in a Medieval Ringfort which was common in Ireland 1500 years ago. The Farmers house within the ringfort is where you will lay your head and get to experience life as it would have been like for our ancestors in the time of the Druids and St. Patrick. The Ringfort is set in the beautiful grounds of the Irish National Heritage Park and you will have full access to the Park during your stay.

I absolutely recommend to stay here with kids. Super adventure! Especially combined with the ‘a day in the life of a Viking’ experience where the kids get dressed up and wear their Viking clothes until the next day!! 😂

This is by far the best night away we have ever had - we were so under prepared for how much fun this was going to be. Exploring on our own - cooking our own food and a great night's sleep in the fort. Make sure to get involved and dress up - it is all part of the experience…
