We spent five days in the biggest room of the house. It was an interesting experience for us, to stay in an old, authentic neighborhood. And we liked it. All facilities worked well. The house is clean and safe enough to stay with two children. Beds, pillows, blankets are perfect for a good rest. The house is conveniently situated for walking to the Old Jaffo as well as for jogging on famous Tel Aviv's sea promenade. There is a number of groceries and cafes nearby. Anat reliable and welcoming host. Thank you.

We had a lovely time at Anat's guest house. You can reach the beach and the inner city pretty fast and the neighbourhood has some nice spots as well. I would recommend to stay there!

Response from Anat:
The house is very bright and faces south west, but as it is summer and due to the heat the shutters are closed but guests can open them.

Nice place and very well located. The bed very very soft so you can feel the springs. But overall good value for money in a expensive city such Tel Aviv.

The lovely renovated "Thom Balev" house is placed next to "The village" which is a beautiful new place in the center of Florentin (district of Tel Aviv). The house and the area around are beautiful and very calm, no traffic noise at all. Anat and her team take care of the house and fix every problem in short time. Communication is good and easy. I can recommend this place for short and longtime stays. The only disadvantage (which is not the fault of the host): There is a big construction side right next to the house and since the windows are not isolated the noise of pneumatic hammers drives you crazy in the morning. I guess this problem will endure the next few months.

Anat's place is a very kind person and a great host as she answered to all of my messages very fast during my stay. The apartment is very similar to the pictures, and the room I was staying was simply perfect. The garden is super pleasant, though not so private as we can hear/see the neighbors who live close by. The neighborhood is one of the best in TLV, not very central but there are bus stations very close and it's only 20 minutes walking from the center. However, as almost everywhere in TLV, there is a building in construction just close to the apartment, so I was being waken up every day or almost at 6 am... I wish I had known this information before booking the place. Anat said the work would be over soon, so probably the next people renting the place will have more luck than me :). Except for that, Anat was always available to solve the issues or answer to my request, and the place is so great that I would definitely book it again.

Shalom,

For many years I have entertained and hosted many people, friends and family in my home and I now am happy to combine my passion for hosting and meeting new people by hosting travelers in this special, peaceful house in Jaffa.

After many years in Business Management I have spent the last 7 years studying art, and setting up a center to teach and promote Sustainability, Ecological and Social responsibility through Organic Farming.

I’ll be happy to introduce you to our quaint neighborhood with its small Cafes and to the most colorful, diverse and vibrant neighborhood in Tel Aviv, there is so much to do or you can also choose to just relax by the beach or on the Sun filled porch of the house.
