A beautifully restored Widow’s Cottage dating from 1860, situated in the heart of Irelands Ancient East, the cottage is an ideal base for exploring the historical city of Kilkenny and it’s environs. Located in the centre of the picturesque river village of Graiguenamanagh, directly opposite the magnificent Duiske Abbey, the cottage avails of many historic sights, walking routes, river trails, kayaking, and some great pubs, all on your doorstep.

The space
Abbey Cottage is one of four historic 'Widows Cottages', now wonderfully restored and modernised. Only 90 minutes from Dublin, choose to recharge your batteries and unwind in this beautiful River Barrow valley setting or venture further afield and enjoy the many sights and activities on offer.

The accommodation, a stones throw from the shops and pubs of Graiguenmangh, consists of the master bedroom, two additional double bedrooms, two bathrooms ( one with a bath and the other with an electric shower), sitting room and an open plan kitchen diner.
