My husband and I spent three weeks and some at Williams' summer cottage this fall. We fell in love with the place right away. It is conveniently located off a main road that connects to all the towns close by and, by extension, to all the good cafés, restaurants and cultural venues. A long, tree lined driveway leads up to the cottage which is located in a beautiful, pastoral setting. The interior is tastefully decorated, warm and homey, with all the modern conveniences. The large windows and skylights in the rooms bring the surrounding landscape into every corner of the house. You needn't even step out to enjoy the beauty of nature. Once or twice a day, a freight train slowly chugs by, a cool sight. We had the most wonderful time of our lives driving down the drive way, which beamed with colors and light, enjoyed the silence and the stars at night. William is absolutely the best host that we have had on airbnb. He is friendly yet unobtrusive, answered our messages right away, and attended to any issues immediately. The kitchen wasn't really equipped for a long term stay and I needed extra utensils and containers to cook and store. William provided all that I needed to facilitate regular cooking. One time, the kitchen sink developed a leak and he took care of it right away. William is the most dependable host I have come across. We are going back in mid January and will be spending a few weeks at the cottage. I don't think we would have undertaken this winter adventure in the Berkshires but for him. Thank you William and Tricia.

Wonderful spacious lodging, with tasteful decor, including fresh cut flowers, and in a quaint area with a lot to explore. Lovely pool but unheated and in shade after 2:30pm. Host was friendly but not intrusive and very quick to respond to inquiries. A wonderful spot.

My husband & I were in search of a peaceful weekend getaway and Bill's guest house was perfection. The property is newly renovated, from the kitchen to the bathrooms, so every inch was immaculate. Although there were plenty of modern upgrades, the house still maintained its charm which I adored! From before we even arrived, Bill's hospitality was incredible as he gave us detailed driving directions as well as suggestions for two fantastic restaurants in the area. And upon arrival he supplied us with croissants, muffins, fresh fruit and two champagne glasses for some chilled prosecco. We hope to return one day soon. I highly recommend this place to anyone!

My wife Tricia and I have been married for twenty two years. We have two children currently off at college. Last year we travelled Europe for the first time. It was an amazing experience that really opened our eyes to travel. We feel we have a very special property and love sharing it! I have been renovating our home and guest house for the past four years. It's now ready for guests. We look forward to making your stay in the Berkshires a wonderful experience!
