Interaction with guests
This a true bed and breakfast with host. We live in the garage guest house and have two dogs that we walk multiple times a day in the back yard and out in the neighborhood. We provide local jams and honey with bagels, English muffins, and sometimes local croissants. We provide coffees, tea, and hot coco. And we provide fresh seasonal fresh fruit. We are just a text, call or knock on the door away. Our goal is to have our guest feel at home and safe while also having them feel as though they got a a lot of bang for their buck.
Other things to note
This is a house with a host who has their own guest house in built in the garage. Dogs are allowed but not in the house. You only have two parking spaces.
Are bed and breakfast rules are really simple actually.
You may only Park where we have assigned you parking. And you have two parking spaces.
You need to be mindful of noise after 10pm till 8am.
You need to pick up after yourself in the common areas ( the kitchen, the two living rooms, the two dinning areas, outside)
All smoking must be done outside in the back area.
Any Gatherings must be approved ahead of time.
All dogs - no cars allowed- have to stay in the host quarters. We are basically giving you a free kennel service. And you may come and pick up your dog and do whatever you like. We just don't allow pets in the main house. When you walk your dog you must pick up after your dog. Your dog will be around two other dogs, so social skills are a must if you bring your dog. Your dog will be give free range of the host quarters so if your dog isn't house broken there will be fees for any potty accidents, unless you have a set schedule and kennel. No crate or kennel is required as we have dog beds and loungers, however we recommend that all guest bring one and some shirts that they have already worn, so your dog knows you haven't abandoned them and they will feel more comfortable.
I am a military brat who had traveled the world, but always come back to my home town. I have been co-hosting multiple units with many friends, and just love hosting guests. My partner and I live in this units guest house with our two dogs. We are very happy to open up this house so close to the beach that will help families be able to afford to stay in our expensive town. Life is always about living in the moment.
