Brand New!!! This mountain cabin is a true escape! Nestled on 16 acres in the mountains overlooking a 6088ft peak, it's the perfect get-a-way. Inspired with a rustic Italian Villa in mind. Private & quiet- The cabin is 7 min. from shops & restaurants of Waynesville & 30 mins to Asheville. Our brand new restored studio cabin is custom designed by local artisans & is a place you can come to unwind, decompress (really), & explore the beautiful mountains of the Great Smokies!

The space
This is a large, bright one room studio cabin with 400 sq. ft of covered deck and patio space with gas grill, fire pit, and hot tub overlooking the mountains. The design is a unique combination of retro design accents mixed with rustic custom-made cabin furniture and topped off with a Tuscan Villa theme. The vaulted ceilings and a spa inspired bathroom with windows facing the private woods, Italian tile, walk-in large shower and custom made cabinets help create a tranquil and serene retreat for our guests. Located 11 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We just recently added a Samsung Frame to allow our guests to view beautiful artwork or get cozy on the couch on a rainy day and watch a movie. We realize sometimes a good movie helps to provide our guests a true escape to unwind free from the distractions and craziness that life can sometimes bring. Also, there is fast Wi-fi for watching movies on your laptop or i-Pad if you wish. We put our hearts and souls into this cabin so it is very special.
Custom reclaimed wood furniture and a custom built Murphy bed with a queen-size memory foam mattress are crafted by local artisans. There is a queen-size leather sofa-bed for additional sleeping capacity. There are french doors that open to a large covered front porch overlooking the majestic mountains as well as a patio with a hot tub and fire pit for relaxing and star gazing. There are virtually no mosquitoes here which makes it so pleasant to sit outside on the porch and read your favorite book, enjoy a candlelight dinner on the patio, or count the fireflies and stars. You can enjoy the quaint shops in downtown Waynesville and Asheville or take off exploring the outdoor wonders of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Please note, our cleaning crew is following CDC Guidelines and using the checklist for cleaning to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Our Rustic Mountain Studio Cabin is situated at nearly 3400' elevation. The days and evenings are very pleasant at this elevation and virtually no mosquitoes. The cabin is situated at the end of the road in the Plott Mountain Basin. It is quiet with very little noise from the outside world so you feel secluded. There are a few neighbors who live beyond the cabin up the road so that is the only traffic. it is a 7 minute drive to town. Waynesville is a beautiful mountain community of approximately 10,000 people. There are art stores, great restaurants, coffee shops, brew pubs, and antique shops to keep you entertained. The Blue Ridge Parkway is 11 minutes away and numerous outdoor activities within a reasonable drive. If you feel up to venturing out for a little more nightlife and activity, Asheville is a splendid little city just 30 minutes away.
