Pam & Walter were great hosts. We accidentally surprised them by arriving earlier than expected the day after our wedding. They were cleaning the cottage but took the time to welcome us and make a fantastic lunch suggestion. Before we finished, we got a text saying the cottage was ready. It was sparkling and they had gone above and beyond leaving a note of congratulations, a bottle of bubbly, and a few chocolates. The location was close to Kent restaurants, Kent Falls, and hiking at Macedonia Brook Park. We were able to get takeout and eat at the cottage and make tea in the morning. It was a perfect place for a two-night stay in such a quaint area. Thank you, Pam & Walter!

Wonderful cottage next to a babbling brook. We enjoyed the opportunity to live "tiny" with all the conveniences needed for hibernating for a weekend. Definitely recommend!

Thank-you, Sarah! We're so happy that you enjoyed the cottage so much. Please come and visit again! The brook is a great place for "cooling off" in the summer. We make a little pool in it.

This quaint little cottage was absolutely perfect for our overnight stay. It is in a great location for exploring the Litchfield Hills - we hopped all around from Litchfield, Warren, Kent and to West Cornwall. Pam and Walt were very sweet hosts who greeted us upon arrival, gave us some suggestions for the area, and were great at communication prior and during our stay. The cottage itself is so sweet, warm, and cozy (we were there in cold November). There was a bottle of wine waiting for us upon arrival, coffee beans (with grinder and all) in the cabinets, dishware to use, and a mini fridge. There were also some great local brochures / guides to read about the area. I highly recommend Pam & Walt's cottage and will definitely be back to explore the beautiful Litchfield Hills some more!

Thank-you, Arthur! I just wish that I had an "in" with mother nature so I could have made it just a little less cold. Hope that you and Arthur had a good time in Farmington, and hope to see you again next year.

Quiet and cute cottage. Pam is sweet and gave us a warm welcome. Love the decor and hearing the sheep next door. The train wasn't that loud for being so close. Definitely visiting again.

Hi Carissa! Thank-you for your review! It was so nice to meet you and Ronnie. I'm glad that you liked the sheep and the brook. The train has become a fun thing. If we're sitting on our porch when it comes by we wave and the engineer blows the whistle. Our grandchildren love it! Please do come back ! Pam
