About Villa Trees Apartment
Our apartment is a nice place, perfectly comfortable for two people (around 35 m2). The bed is equipped with memory foam pillows.

The apartment is a classic, high ceiling property that is iconic in Budapest, creating a great sense of space. It is located in a historical, stunning villa from the 19th century. There is a welcoming garden attached to the building, where you can relax a bit after sightseeing.

We also have a loft in the apartment - you can use it; however, we believe it's more comfortable using the bed in the room.
The apartment also contains a fully equipped, American style kitchen, with a dining space next to it.

Our place is located on the first floor - just a couple of stairs.

It was very clean, and everything was very well organized including check-in procedures. Also the manuals and guide provided was quite helpful. But it would be nice if the room was a bit warmer! Overall, our stay was amazing. Thank you for hosting us!

I enjoyed my stay at Krisztina's place and would highly recommend it to other travelers. It is located in a nice, quiet area and is a five-minute walk from Széll Kálmán tér, which allows for easy transport all throughout Budapest. Another highlight is that it is a 15-20 minute walk to Buda Castle. I would most definitely stay at Krisztina's place again!

Very clean space, location ok, nice park across the street and normal restaurants / food options. A bit of a walk from the main attractions but public transport is easily accesible and frequent. Only gripe here is that it is not really a 2-person place unless you are a couple. If you're looking for 2 separate beds, there is a loft area ('attic?') about 4 ft clearance (meaning yes, you can not stand up) in an open space above the kitchen, up a climb of a steep flight of stairs (could get maybe half my foot on each step, no hand railing, maybe good for kids or gymnasts). The Attic area where the second bed is supposed to go is unfinished plywood, but you wont be spending much time up there anyway since you can't stand, so splinters weren't an issue. The attic opens down onto the main bedroom area, adjacent to the kitchen, where the other person sleeps, so you wil hear each other every time you move at night. The primary bed downstairs from the attic would be decent except its made of two twin pads and you'll need to haul one of them up to the plywood attic for the 2nd person (good thing you have two ppl to get it up (URL HIDDEN) half pad and half wood slats for primary bed all said and done. Nice enough kitchen with all you need to get most meals done and small table and a few plastic chairs to eat at... Bathroom is normal, nice hot water. However, someone had removed the drainage cover (think saucer plate size) and covered it with a towel, directly in front of where you stand to use the sink, creating a bit of an Indiana Jones booby trap the first time when stepped on. Remove towel and avoid, no big deal. Overall a decent place for one person or couple, but a bit pricey for that setup. Would not recommend for two individuals looking for separate sleeping spaces, unless you're on a budget, but then why not go find a nice hostel and save the extra dough. If you do go this route with two ppl, expect to never separate from each other as you need keys to get out of the building and only one set provided, again, great for couples. Being on the Buda side of the river, the area was very scenic, secluded, and less touristy, so big plusses there, however, you'll be in bed by 11 - 12 PM most nights:)

Response from Krisztina:
Thank you for you feedback. The apartment is listed with one bed, not with two. The other bed on the loft is not meant to be used. The drainage cover has been replaced; there's no 'hole' in the bathroom.

We were met by Szabina, who was very nice and helpful. An appartment is placed in one of the quiet and cozy streets of Buda. Looks just the same as on photos. It takes you to about 10 minutes on foot to get to the metro station and circle tram line. Or you can use the tram and get there in 2 minutes. Krisztina kindly warns about important things to know. We were in Budapest on St. István day and were warned by her that most of shops will be closed and the streets may be overcrowded. There's no free parking, but you can usually find a parking on the street and it is free on weekend.

I like to travel a lot; that's why I know what kind of accomodation a real tourist looks for when s/he wants to discover a new city. I'm from Budapest so I decided to run apartments that are the kinds I would like to stay in during my holiday.
