This cozy vintage apartment is located in the heart on Montpelier. The large balcony overlooks downtown and the North Branch River and is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine in the evening. Only a block from most bars, shops, cafes and restaurants you'll have copious craft beer and food options at your doorstep. A short drive away from all the breweries, ski resorts and nature Vermont has to offer!
The apartment is located on the third floor of a historic brick building. The bedroom has a double bed and the futon in the living room can fold out to sleep 2 more. The building is over a hundred years old and with tilting floors and vintage fixtures. We find it charming and full of character. We live in the apartment when it's not rented out and are excited to welcome you into our home.
Bedroom, living room, batch, kitchen, pantry, balcony. Not closet or covered shelving.
Other things to note
You'll hear the usual city noises here, although Montpelier usually quiets down in the evening. Metered parking is directly out front on the street and is free during evenings and weekends. During the day, you can park two blocks away or pay $1 an hour to use the metered spots. NOTE: You cannot leave your car parked on the street overnight Nov15-April 1st due to the city wide snow parking ban but there is a designated spot for you about a block away.
From Dec 01, 2017 - Feb 28, 2018 the minimum stay is 25 nights.
I will be available by phone or email and am happy to greet you between 4-5 pm on check-in day if you wish (not available for late arrivals.) After that you'll have the place to yourself! Instructions on where to find a hidden key will be provided so arrival time is flexible.
I have an innate need to explore and see what's over the next hill, sampling local cuisine, art and nature along the way.
