This cozy vintage apartment is located in the heart on Montpelier. The large balcony overlooks downtown and the North Branch River and is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine in the evening. Only a block from most bars, shops, cafes and restaurants you'll have copious craft beer and food options at your doorstep. A short drive away from all the breweries, ski resorts and nature Vermont has to offer!

The space

The apartment is located on the third floor of a historic brick building. The bedroom has a double bed and the futon in the living room can fold out to sleep 2 more. The building is over a hundred years old and with tilting floors and vintage fixtures. We find it charming and full of character. We live in the apartment when it's not rented out and are excited to welcome you into our home.

Guest access

Bedroom, living room, batch, kitchen, pantry, balcony. Not closet or covered shelving.

Other things to note

You'll hear the usual city noises here, although Montpelier usually quiets down in the evening. Metered parking is directly out front on the street and is free during evenings and weekends. During the day, you can park two blocks away or pay $1 an hour to use the metered spots. NOTE: You cannot leave your car parked on the street overnight Nov15-April 1st due to the city wide snow parking ban but there is a designated spot for you about a block away.

Clean and comfortable! Enjoyed listening to records and great view from porch. Nothing fancy just a relaxing place to stay which made us feel at home.

Rachel and Nick were great hosts! Their apartment was right in downtown Montpelier and the perfect location to stay in. It was clean and just what the pictures showed... with the added bonus of books and games galore. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!

Place was great. Nice spot for me and my wife (and our 2month old) for a few days. Super convenient location - we walked to everything we did in town. Interesting layout (you walk into the bedroom from the stairs) but it worked. Really well decorated. They had beer and yogurt waiting for us in the fridge, and had coffee (w/ French press), tea, and oatmeal available. Easy check-in and good communication ahead of time and during. Had trouble finding a free parking spot one morning so parked about 8-10min walk away but wasn't a big deal. Also the internet didn't really work but wasn't a big deal (didn't even tell them since we didn't really care). Would stay here again.

Rachel's flat was very cute and well decorated. Communication with her was very easy. She left at our disposal tee coffee and some food for the breakfast. Also if you want to eat outside there is a nice place just next to the building. We would definitely recommend to make a stop in this city and stay at Rachel's place :)

Super cute apartment. Wasn't expecting not having AC but the fans helped and made it comfortable.

Rachel was very attentive to our questions and communicated how to access the apartment very clearly. Her space is beautifully maintained and we had a lovely stay.
