We had a lovely family weekend in the New Forest. The house is conveniently located within easy reach of a number of places in the forest, including Moors Valley Country Park. Our neices loved their trip here to follow the Gruffalo trail! Our party consisted of 10 adults and 2 children, but I would say that the set up of the house is more suited to 8 adults and 4 children if your party size is 12. The grounds and the garden were beautiful, it was a shame the good old British weather didn't enable us to make the most of it during our stay!

The house is perfect for exploring the new forest and is so close to Moors Country Valley Park which was great as we went there twice. The garden is brilliant for dogs! There is a house cat which we loved cuddling with but she seemed to hate the dogs so hopefully she wasn't too upset! The rooms were comfortable and clean. The kitchen was lovely for cooking and family time. Anyone staying here will have a lovely time. The road is noisy but we were out all day so it didn't bother us at all really Thanks Nicholas!

Lovely space. The house is beautiful. Lots of space for hide and seek and a great garden. Low ceilings throughout the downstairs. If you're more than 6 foot you'll need to watch your head! Nicolas was easy to contact and there was a useful home guide.
