Beverley & Danny’s welcome was ever so warm and inviting, I felt comfortable and at ease immediately & though out my stay of 2 nights!! Little details added to the enjoyment - lovely couch on front porch to sit quietly by a small bamboo fountain & pretty plants, being able to chat during a time that is rather stressful due to hurricanes & fires both, closet with full length mirror in bedroom, alarm clock, pitcher of cold water, and more. Parking was easy on the street in front of the house & it was ever So Quiet!! The room was comfortable & I didn’t really want to get Out of the comfy bed, lol; I liked that there were both soft & more firm pillows - firm to prop up, soft to snuggle cheek in sleep. Small a/c window unit there for fan or cool if needed & nice bathroom with Soft towels just a few paces down the hall. They are located just a 12-15 minute drive to a couple Great restaurants too, all right on Why 1!! The sushi at Akane was both beautiful & delicious; across street is Glass Wall Noodle, a small unassuming place with legit Sichuan food - I met & visited extensively with the owner & gave Thumbs UP to the chefs who didn’t speak English :D. The Spicy Beef was wonderfully laced with extra ghoa jiao / Sichuan peppercorns, after I said I was CRAVING their flavor. I will find way to return to both those venues!! And the Wired Monk coffee shop in same mall as Glass wall has Huge scones & wicked strong lovely Americanos. A few other small restaurants are in those 2 small shopping areas too. I won’t Hesitate to stay there again or recommend their place. It’s like staying in your friends’ lovely home :). I really enjoyed talking about restaurants & more, Beverley, Thank you!!!
