The Sailhouse is a contemporary second floor apartment recently converted from a Georgian building; once a sail factory when New Quay was a thriving shipbuilding centre. Dylan Thomas has much connection with New Quay as it was during the 1930's that he reputedly visited his Aunty Cat at the Blue Bell pub (now a nearby deli and restaurant). During the summer you can spot dolphins from the balcony or the harbour walls where scenes for 'The Edge of Love' were filmed.

Absolutely beautiful stay. We saw dolphins from the balcony almost everyday. Lorraine’s appartment was beautifully clean and comfortable. Loved all of the thoughtful touches, and was totally obsessed with the Bluetooth speaker in the bathroom! We will be back!!
