Shagy’s Oasis is that special place to be while in Sibiu, as it lies in the heritage building of the Former Franciscan Convent, dating from the 15th – 18th Century, part of a quiet central area, at a walking distance of only 4 minutes from Large Square, Brukenthal Museum and Small Square; 5 minutes from Liar’s Bridge and Sibiu’s fortress walls, 5 minutes walk from Old Town, outdoors spaces, Transylvanian flavours, the ambiance and the kindness of the local people.

Most of the restaurants are located around central area.
During the summer a lot of festivals , concerts and cultural events are happening in the Main Square and surroundings .
