Breakfast
This is one of a few places in the area that has this feature.
Our rambling cottage is located in rural countryside at the foot of Mt Leinster. It is totally secluded, surrounded with gardens and paddocks, offering total peace and tranquility. Our guest suite has a private entrance, with tea and coffee facilities in the hallway. A very comfy bed with pure cotton sheets, and newly refurbished bathroom with big fluffy towels and wetroom shower. Breakfast of fresh baked croissants and rolls is served in the dining room of the main house, next to a warm fire.

The space
Our house is an old granite stone cottage, which has been sympathetically extended over the years. It is furnished in an eclectic mix, with loads of paintings and sculptures, many of them the work of your host. It is an old house, and very much a family home. The guest room is also furnished with interesting artworks and curios.

Guest access
Breakfast is served in the main dining room from 8.00 until 10.00am. Please let us know what time suits you best, early breakfast is no problem by arrangement. Please don't bring food in to eat in the bedroom. The guest suite is on the ground floor, with its own entrance to the side of the main house. Bathrobes and tea and coffee are supplied, as are toiletries for the huge modern shower. There is a garden to enjoy with outdoor seating areas, plus some friendly dogs, horses and chickens to make friends with.

Other things to note
Being only 5 miles from the world famous Goresbridge Sport Horse Sales, many guests use us as their base. We have extensive hard core for parking and turning of horseboxes, and can arrange overnight stabling on site.
We love welcoming guests to join us in our home, and look forward to helping your enjoy this wonderful part of Ireland. We would recommend that a car is essential for enjoying this part of the countryside, but there are also wonderful walks and mountain hikes right on the doorstep.

During your stay
Your hosts are originally both from England, and have been in this house for thirty years. My husband retired from the music industry to come fishing, and is now a sculptor, while I breed horses. We are happy to point out local places of interest for our guests, and help them plan their route.
