Built in 1858, this little cottage exudes vintage charm. On the edge of a pretty village, it's a perfect place from which to visit Glastonbury, or explore the beautiful county of Somerset.
Inside, it is thoughtfully prepared to balance its individual style with comfort for guests.
Outside, there is a small garden with fruit and vegetable beds, surrounded with a 'wildlife lawn', apple tree, flowers & hedgerows, and space to eat, rest and unwind, with a view out over an old orchard.
The cottage is on two floors, with a sitting room, kitchen-diner and the bathroom downstairs, and a double bedroom and a single bedroom upstairs.
It has central heating throughout, with the addition of a log burner in the sitting room, making it extra cosy on chilly evenings.
The kitchen-diner is simple but well-equipped, with a walk-in pantry. There is a gas cooker, and a good size fridge/freezer.
The bathroom is on the ground floor. It has a new and efficient over-bath shower, with hot water on demand.
Please bear in mind when booking, there is no toilet upstairs.
There is off-road parking.
Due to the nature of the cottage, this let is only for a maximum of 2 adult guests, plus one child over 12 years old. It is not suitable for younger children or pets.
There is a washing machine and tumble dryer, locked for the owner's use only. However, guests staying more than one week are welcome to use these by arrangement.
Guests are welcome to use the garden. There are chairs and a table for dining outside, and a lounger and armchair for relaxing. Guests are welcome to pick some herbs and vegetables to accompany their meals (subject to seasonal availability).

I would be delighted to tell you more about things to do and see in Somerset, and give you some suggestions on the best local places to buy food and eat out.
Other things to note

Due to the productive nature and dense planting of the garden, with steps and a stream, it is not suitable for young children or ball games.
- This cottage is for up to 2 adults maximum (and 1 child, aged 12 or over, by pre-agreement). It is not suitable for children under 12.
