Other things to note

Big Spin Ranch is centrally located in the Grand Canyon region, adventure, awesome skateparks, dining, shopping, nightlife all over with something for everyone.
We're a half hour from the amazing South Rim of the Grand Canyon, loads of hikes and stuff to do there. There's a great hike halfway between the campsite and the GC, its the Red Butte Trail, its this random mountain in the middle of the plains, can see everything up there. Then there's a national forest(free entry) a half hour southeast towards Flagstaff, loads of different trails. Flagstaff is a great town too, lots to do, three great skateparks with all different styles. Proper Mexican food all over, lots of dining/nightlife options Downtown. Also you can go a half hour south down hwy 64 and there's Kaibab Lake followed by Williams, AZ, awesome little route 66 town, very old school America feel to it. If you skate/bmx, there's a really good ditch on the north side of Route 66, park at the Safeway, walk across the street past the statue park, can't miss it.

This place was a closer drive to the grand canyon, a bit harder to get to in a lower car like mine. Smooth spots on land with fire pits so you can choose where you want to park your tent, other Rv's/tents in site (Since its like a flat grassland) but too far to actually see anyone/what they are doing. Easy to find according to GPS and theres a little light by their sign to better guide you.

It was awsome being alone in such a big flat landscape with these blue mountains in background and black cows as roommates. Great communication from our host.

Stars stars stars! Awesome. Great location close to Grand Canyon. Good communication. Bring tent stakes because it can get windy. We didn't have them but used rocks to keep our tent in place. The wind wasn't a negative factor whatsoever though. It had calmed down by evening when we got back to star gaze. Thanks Abi!

Great location, is exactly as advertised. Only downside was that as it was monsoon season the road was very muddy and wet and not so suitable for smaller/ lower cars however it is possible to park further away and walk through the muddy bits. Really helpful/ responsive host. A great place to stay for accessing the Grand Canyon.

We stay at this camping site just for 1 night. We arrived when there was already dark, but it is not hard to find a place. Would stay there again!

We had to cancel before we arrived, but the communication with Abi was flawless. Thanks, maybe next time!

The place is very easy to find, about 35 mins away from the entrance. The starts at night are wonderful!
