Great location100% of recent guests gave this home’s location a 5-star rating.

The cabin is over 100 years old but has been tastefully renovated, keeping its charm. The 700 sq. ft. cabin is on a five acre tranquil organic property situated on the Tsolum River, at the foot of Mt. Washington. The deck looks out over the field, organic vegetable garden, small wooded area and river.
The eagle chicks just across the river, will be hatching and fledging soon.
The cabin and entire property are non-smoking. A friendly dog is allowed with prior approval as we have sheep.

We had such an incredible time in the cabin on Marlene and Erich's farm. They've done an amazing job with the property and created such a welcoming, comfortable space. We loved relaxing and reading on the porch with a cup of tea, wading through the river (a bit too chilly yet to …

We were greeted by sheep on our arrival and enjoyed watching them nibble their way around the meadow. Our favourite was just sitting on the porch enjoying the hummingbirds head to the feeder. The farmhouse was very comfortable and peaceful. We definitely enjoyed our stay

We had such a wonderful relaxing weekend that was well over due. We went skiing in the mountains and relaxed on the property watching the sheep and enjoying the sun. Thanks for providing a cozy cabin with all we needed and a cozy wood burning stove. We will definitely book again!

We are a retired couple who enjoy outdoor activities such as gardening, hiking, bike riding, swimming and camping. Erich plays the Five String Banjo and I play the spoons. We love spending time with our grandchildren and our little Jack Russell Jewel.
