Old Cruck Frame house with eco converted barn. Wonderful view of the Tanat Valley from the glassed first floor studio. This is the end part of an old farmhouse. There are other tenants in the main house and out buildings. Powered by the sun and an eco pellet burner. Beautiful grounds and organic veg from the poly tunnel. We try to be as eco friendly as we can, we teach crafts and can tailor activities for anyone interested.

The space

Beautiful oak timber frame with solid oak flooring, built by local artisans. Features include steam bent ash, oak and elm spiral staircase, Elm kitchen worktops. Lay in bed admiring the beautiful Tanat valley bellow, this is one of the best views in the area.

Everything about Suzanne's cottage was exactly what we hoped - cosy, warm, beautiful... We felt very at home :) It's an inspiring place! And Suzanne is a wonderful host. Thanks, we had a very special time.

Loved the private little timber cabin out in the middle of nowhere; the view from the bed was amazing! Straight out onto cow fields and the valley. So quiet and secluded but had everything we needed including a log fire. (Logs are provided at a small cost). Nearest town has a small Spar shop and it’s a 20-30minutes drive to Snowdonia National Park. Sue was lovely and helpful and lives just next door if we needed anything. Craft lessons are additionally available on site too.

Amazing space! With unrivalled views, brilliant location and lovely cosy feel. Sue and Rich are brilliant hosts and they were very accommodating with our late arrival. Would definitely recommend their place. We just wish we could have stayed longer. Will hopefully return in the near future. Thanks for everything!

We both adored the beautiful accommodation which was colourfully decorated and had a lovely homely vibe. The house was warm and cosy and we were provided with ample firewood. Rich and Sue were fantastic hosts who made us feel right at home. There were stunning views and the east facing upstairs sitting room gets great natural light in the mornings. We were invited to help ourselves to veggies from their garden which we happily did and featured in our veggie curry night. We were so charmed by the house and local area (and somewhat reluctant to end our honeymoon) that we asked if we could stay an extra night and we were delighted to be able to. We drove to the local waterfall which was stunning and a lovely walk to the top. We also had dinner in the local pub the Plough which was honestly one of the nicest pub experiences I've ever had and we returned for drinks on another day. We also visited the Dragon craft shop in the village and bought some of Sue's beautiful hand spun wools. We have very much fallen in love with this part of the country, we are hoping to move to Wales next year and now are looking at properties in the area. Thanks Sue and Richie for being the perfect hosts and sharing your beautiful home. We look forward to next time!
