Newly Refurbished 2 Bedroom Ground Floor Quayside Apartment.

New to Airbnb this spacious 2 bedroom ground floor apartment is located on the south side of the Newcastle Gateshead Quayside next door to the Hilton Hotel.

The apartment benefits from an excellent central location only a 2 minutes walk over the swing bridge to Newcastle Quayside with its extensive selection of restaurants and bars as well The Baltic Art Gallery, Sage Music Centre and Millennium Bridge.

The space

Our ground floor apartment is a fabulous modern 2 bedroom apartment fully equipped with everything a guest could need for a comfortable, enjoyable stay. We have recently fully refurbished the property and it benefits from new soft furnishings, bedding, towels, appliances, crockery and glassware.

Accessed via a secure ground floor lobby with coded entry system guests enter the apartment through the bright hallway which leads directly through to the large bright open plan living and dining area with floor to ceiling windows allowing plenty of light into the space. The area is perfect for socialising or relaxing after a busy day. There are two cream leather Natuzzi sofas, coffee table, 50" flat screen TV with freeview, DVD player and free wi fi. Moving towards the kitchen there is also a large glass dining table and dining chairs.

The kitchen benefits from brand new appliances including fridge freezer, washer/dryer, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is an electric oven and hob as well as new dinner sets, glassware and cutlery for 6 people ensuring all guests have everything at their disposal for an enjoyable stay.

The apartment is decorated in neutral cream, white and grey tones throughout.

The master bedroom has a large double window which faces you as you walk in. There is a double bed, 2 bedsides tables with side lights, radio alarm clock, hairdryer, wardrobe and chest of draws and mirror. The master bedroom has a lovely white en suite with shower, sink, toilet and vanity unit.

There is a further spacious double bedroom located next to the family bathroom. This bedroom also benefits from a double bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, mirror, hairdryer, clock radio and chest of draws, ensuring that storage will not be a problem.

The family bathroom very spacious with white fixtures including a bath, sink, toilet and vanity unit.

An iron board, iron, vacuum cleaner are also available.

A cot and highchair are available on request.

Two camp beds are available should you wish to pay for one or two extra guests.

Guest access

Guests can use the external outside patio area to the side of the property.

Guests will also benefit from a secure on site parking space located next to the apartment in a car park with roller shutter door. A fob and permit will be provided for the duration of your stay.

Guests of the apartment can use the leisure facilities of the Hilton Hotel for £10 per day. It is also worth checking Groupon for spa offers as there is often very good deals available.

Interaction with guests

Lauren and Ian are contactable at all times during your stay should any issues arise.

We are happy to recommend any activities, family outings, places for beauty treatments or restaurants and bars for during your stay.

Guest Access

The apartment has an intercom security door to access the building. Access to the front door is by separate code which will be issued shortly before your stay.

The apartment is in a quiet residential building so it is not suitable for late night parties and we kindly ask you to respect our neighbours.

We don't accept stag and hen parties no matter how well behaved you promise to be.

The apartment sleeps 4 but can sleep 6 by prior arrangement.

Prices are negotiable for long term stays and corporate visits.

Everything was fantastic, from the communication with Lauren and quick reponses, to the cleanliness and the appopintment of the well-equipped apartment, its situation a stone's throw from the swing bridge and the centre of Newcastle. The apartment was lovely and warm. too. Even the weather was super! I wouldn't hestitate to recommend this apartment to anybody and would definitely like to stay there again on our next visit to the north east.

We really enjoyed our stay in gareshead! Lauren and Ian's place is super spacious and within walking distance to Newcastle Quai Side or the metro station, for those who don't want to walk to the city center. Everything was really clean, and there's a huge well equipped kitchen. Would recommend!

This great apartment was stylish and extremely clean...and perfectly placed for exploring Newcastle and the countryside. It is walking distance to the Metro but it's just as quick to walk across any of the three bridges that are extremely close to the apartment. An easy walk across the High Level Bridge brings you directly to the castle and then to the cathedral or Bigg Market. Driving in the other direction and you can be at the Metro Centre or Beamish in less than half an hour. The Sage is just across the road too. The apartment is spacious and very well equipped, beds were comfy and with lovely linen. The kitchen had everything you'd need and the goodies left for breakfast was a really thoughtful touch. The huge sofas and tv meant for great relaxing space. A secure parking space was a great bonus too! Communication with Lauren and Ian was easy and they were helpful with recommendations for the local area. For the price it is extremely good value and gives you way more space than a hotel room, coupled with the location we would Highly recommended.

Spacious, clean apartment. A short walk across the swing bridge takes you into the heart of Old Newcastle and The Quayside. Safe, secure parking. Hosts respond quickly to queries and are very helpful. We will stay here again!

A beautiful cosy, clean, comfortable well located apartment. Excellent communication with Lauren meant trouble free access and led to a smooth stay throughout. Everything is available on your doorstep, A real home from home. Would definitely stay again.

A lovely place to stay a little hill to walk down to cross the bridge to town but we did have a wheel chair with us and our elderly mother (83) beautiful place fantastic hosts
