Cozy, real-log cabin located in a quiet neighborhood, minutes from the main Parkway and attractions of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Dollywood, Splash Country, Restaurants, Publix's, Kroger, The Island, The Ripken Experience, minutes away.
You will have the main level of the cabin, our second home, to yourself. WiFi, television with built-in DVD in bedroom but no cable, Smart TV in basement, no problems with phone signals, usually.

The space
You will occupy the middle, ground level of a 3 story cabin. The attic level is not available and there is a small media room with a Smart TV and DVD in the basement. You will be the sole occupant/s, with master bedroom, full kitchen, living/dining room, front porch and back deck. Lots of parking available. Public transport ( the Funtime Trolley) is a 10 minute walk away. We consider the space unsuitable for young children because of the low deck railings and the easily accessible basement steps. We do not charge a cleaning fee and expect guests to leave the cabin as they found it, following CHECKOUT guidelines. We take care of the used towels and linen, but expect that dishes used will be washed and garbage placed in the bins/bags.

Retired to the Great Smoky Mountains, having travelled and worked in several countries including Japan and Venezuela (as an ESL teacher). Started a retail business in Gatlinburg and did international exhibits for 15 years at Dollywood's Festival of Nations. My husband is a retired Chemical Engineer (worked for EPA for 30 years). I love traveling and have used airbnb on many occasions on my trips both nationally and internationally. My husband does not travel as much as I do, he spends his time gardening, working on his antique cars and especially with the grand kids. We look forward to making your stay memorable, no matter where you are from, who you worship, love or the color shade of your skin. Namaste!
