A very warm welcome to Driftwood, Portreath. We hope you have a thoroughly relaxing and memorable stay.
This lovely first-floor apartment is very well equipped, with all modern conveniences including TV and WiFi. Ideal for couples and families with easy, free parking and a shared outside space.
Each bedroom can accommodate two adults, with comfortable beds and plenty of storage for all your holiday gear. Hotel-quality linen and towels are provided by our housekeeper, but please bring your own beach towels, buckets and spades!
The kitchen is very well-equipped, offering everything from a cafetiere to Prosecco glasses. There's a brand new flat-screen TV in the living room with DVD player and a small selection of DVDs for all ages. There are family games and a few books available too.
The bathroom is light and modern with an electric shower over the bath and a heated towel rail.
The apartment is heated (if required!) by overnight storage heaters.
The apartment is on the first floor and so we kindly ask that you respect our neighbours as you come and go.
There are a good number of local eateries, including a fish and chip takeaway, pubs, Chinese, cafes and a bakery. If you want to venture a little further afield, you will find famous restaurants such as Rick Stein's new place in Porthleven and Jamie Oliver's 'Fifteen' at Watergate Bay.
Of course, St Ives, a 20 minute drive away, is full of options for eating, shopping, galleries (including the Tate), boat trips, and you might even spot the local dolphins! We highly recommend Caffe Pasta on the harbourfront for a wonderful Italian dinner.
We hope you have a wonderful stay and enjoy our lovely apartment. We look forward to your feedback and hope to see you again soon!
