Until the end of the XIXth century, the building where the apartment is located, hosted Lazar Cafe, belonging to Josef Lazar. Due to its central position, the cafe became the coolest meeting point in town, being inspired by other European cafes.

The main street of Sibiu's city centre is the perfect location to stay. You are in walking distance from all the main attractions the city offers. Jump out of bed and you're greeted with cafés and restaurants to have breakfast, lunch, dinner, fresh juices or enjoy a barista-prepared coffee. Museums, the county library and other cultural spots are also just a short walk away.
Five kilometres from central Sibiu you can find the ASTRA National Museum Complex. This is Europe's largest open-air ethnographic museum, where churches, mills and traditional homes number among 400 folk architecture monuments on site. In summer, ASTRA hosts numerous fairs, dance workshops and musical performances, so it's worthwhile checking the website for events.
