Spacious and sunny 19th century family house, with large panoramic terrace where dine, sunbathe or contemplate the starry sky at the chanting of the crickets.

Surrounded by a large fenced garden with wood burning stove, barbecue and small pool, it is ideal for relaxing in the nature; but also a great base for hiking to the villages of the Pistoia hill, the most important Tuscan art cities, Montecatini's thermal baths and the Grotta Giusti of Monsummano Terme.

The space

You can access to the apartment, located on the first floor of the building, via an external staircase with covered landing.
There are two very spacious bedrooms, one double and one with twin beds, in this room is possible to add an extra bed.
From the living room you access directly to the terrace, (6m x 5m), equipped with table, chairs and with deckchairs; complete the house a large bathroom with tub, a storage room and a kitchenette with cooker, gas oven and dishwasher.
All rooms overlook the south except for the kitchenette, which looks out to the north, and the bathroom to the east.

Guest access

You can access at the green areas surrounding the house, at the oven and barbecue area equipped with table and chairs, at the garden and the pool area (3m x 4m) equipped with sun loungers and deckchairs, shared with the other guests of the house.
The small garden and terrace on the ground floor will be at your disposal only if there are no other guests.

Interaction with guests

I'll be here during your stay.

Other things to note

The house is close to a road with modest local traffic.
After sunset it is not uncommon to meet on the road from Montecatini or Pistoia to Casore, roe deer, marten and some porcupine.

This is a very great place to stay if you are looking for a remote place in a beautiful surrounding. Despite of the quit area it is very easy to visit places such as Lucca and Pisa. The Airbnb itself is very nice. The place is very clean and beautiful. The hosts are very friendly, helpful and hospitable. We enjoyed it very much to have them as hosts. Currently, I am using Airbnb for three years now and this is the best Airbnb that I have used so far. I can really recommend this place to anybody that want to celebrate his or her holliday at the Tuscany country side. I want to thank Grazia and her family for all the hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay in Grazia's lovely country home on the hill. The house is spacious and cool, and the huge terrace offers great views of the valley and surrounding countryside. At night you can see the twinkling lights in the valley below. Because the location is on a hill the air is cooler, which allows you to enjoy breakfast and supper outside, even at the height of summer. There's a roll-up shade and a patio umbrella on the terrace so you can always sit in the shade, either at the table or on the brandnew lounge set. The location is easily accessible by a paved mountain road, although its twists and turns make it tricky to navigate in the dark when you're not familiar with it. It's definitely worth the ride, though, because of the superb views and the cooler air. The yard is huge and beautiful with flowering shrubs, fruit trees, a vegetable plot, and two small pools where kids can swim and adults can cool off. It also has a BBQ area and pizza oven that you can use (but ask the hosts first). Grazia and her family are the best hosts ever. They had goodies for us in the refrigerator, made calls to the local restaurant for reservations, helped us out with all our questions, even treated us to a home-ccoked lunch on our first day when she found out we hadn't done any grocery shopping yet. One night, they cooked pizza for all the guests in their own wood-fired oven in the yard. It was a delightful evening with excellent food and company. I can highly recommend this place if you're looking for a country home away from the hustle and bustle of the Tuscany crowds but still wish to enjoy Tuscan hospitality, food, and views. Excellent for families with small children. If you are the type of person who likes to go out for a drink or meal at night, this is not the place for you though, as you would have to drive all the way down to the nearest town (an 8-kilometer ride down a dark, winding road), and back up again afterwards. You do need a car to get there and away. If you are the type of person who enjoys some peace and quiet after a busy day seeing the sights, and loves to settle down with a good glass of local wine to enjoy the views, then this is the place for you.

C'est une famille très accueillante , disponible et de bons conseils pour les visites . Une belle recontre. C'est un logement central entre Pise et Florence, au calme avec une belle vue sur la vallée.
