Our guests have access to the front garden for outdoor dining (seats up to 12) and use of the outdoor fireplace and grill. The back townhouse also has a stone deck entrance with outdoor seating and another deck off the kitchen with another seating group and a koi pond. The back patio, sunny in the afternoon, has another table and chairs.
Interaction with guests
The main house on our property is a duplex. My husband and I live in the front townhouse. The tastefully furnished back townhouse has been set up for the enjoyment of our guests. We have as much or as little interaction with our guests as they desire. We try for pleasant inconspicuousness.
Other things to note
In the interest of being energy conscious, we ask that you turn the downstairs lights off at night. Thank you.
1. Parties and hosting of social events is not permitted
2. No Smoking.
3. Please carry your luggage up and down the stairs rather than rolling them up and down. ( The stairs are a sculptural element of the house and are easily knicked by luggage abuse), Thank you!
I love living in Venice, bicycling to the beach, farmer's markets, and the various wonderful local eateries, especially "Gjelina" just two blocks down the street. I'm the mother of five wonderful children, and the wife of a contemporary art dealer. Together, over the last thirty years, we have greatly enjoyed our Venice lifestyle, and we are glad to share it with you.
